While looking for a replacement for my busted Power Shredder (Fellows has a great model for handling reams of paper at a time – don’t ask) I just saw an ad on Top Classifieds that reads “Missing Artifact – Information Needed Missing artifact – 480BC Greek necklace. Family heirloom. Information wanted. May be in Siberia or Middle East. Archaeological Expedition on trail, info needed. Contact kronos480bc at livejournal with tips.” (http://www.topclassifieds.com/miscellaneous6.htm)
Of course, I followed the link and this man is looking for a necklace that has been lost for at least a hundred years. And he says an archaeologist is tracking it as well. I wonder what this is all about. If I had a live journal account, I might contact him… Must leave this for the weekend, as tax time is always a bad time to get involved in any “mysteries”.
My guy is a conspiracy kook. I have to say that I believe him when he says that none of us can trust our government, however as to CIA plots and such, I do not know.
If what the journal pages are saying is true (Thompson’s are a mercenary family, which I could buy) then I would think that Chance is probably working for hire, and the CIA/Consulate/whatever may be looking at Chance and VG, to see if their interests should be US interests.
Or, maybe VG and the US are both cogs in the same wheel. That part is beyond me. Jay hasn’t went beyond Chance’s role, but then the second you say Consulate, he assumes “The Company” and that would mean no one is unsuspected.
I am concerned about Fee, are you the same “associate” Jacks/T*** that Fee has mentioned? Have you heard from her? She’s not answering her phones, and we’ve tried all of them. No email either. This started on Monday night.
I assume you know that Kronos is, ummm….nowhere to be found at the moment. My question is, with the American Consulate’s new interest in the expedition, what would you think the likelihood be of them having an interest in this artifact, as well? Or would it be more convenient for them to be under the “influence” of VG?
Sorry if this goes beyond your knowledge of the situation. Let me know if I need to contact Jay about this.
Well, Jay has started calling Fee about every third day, so we know she’s okay. We thank you so much for taking up the case, as everyone’s safety is of the utmost concern to us.
I really don’t see it getting better anytime soon, either, unfortunately.
I’m actually glad Bobbie left things the way they are, at the moment. My associates and I are getting some pretty good info by pursuing these avenues. But, I completely understand your concerns.
I’m worried about Bobbie and Fee’s safety, as well. That’s why I and my associates are trying to figure out the who, what, when, where, and why’s as fast as we can.
Jacks, I don’t see it getting any better, since Bobbie decided to leave everything as Chance made it for at least a while longer.
She believes that by leaving these things on there, maybe whatever game is being played will be tracked better than if she removes this stuff.
I’m not so sure that is a wise thing, but it’s her site and I don’t feel in any danger as such an outsider. I am, however, very worried about Bobbie and Fee.
Please take care and I thank you for all of the help you are offering in this.
Thanks for the response. I can tell you that there are certainly some odd things going on. I found your site by clicking on a “hidden” link on the Hope Ranch Foundation website. The link was just barely visible and written in morse code.
I have actually been in contact with Fee, trying to find out what I can and offering any assistance I can provide.
From what I gather, it seems Bobbie is having a bit of conflict of interests with a board member regarding this current expedition.
Hopefully we’ll all find out more soon.
Thanks again.
Hi Jacks,
There’s a lot of questions I have about this, and now it seems that I may actually be somehow involved with it, no matter how peripherally.
My husband, Jay, works during the summer at Hope Ranch as a counselor, and a string of emails came in from Fee Lee (Camp Head Director) over the last couple of days, concerning Roberta Hope, the website and athe archaeological expedition to Altai, Mongolia/Siberia that Bobbie has recently departed for.
Jay’s looking into the subject addressed in the letters, however he’s not talking about it much, and I don’t have a lot of information myself.
It seems that Bobbie is getting into a throwdown with one of the other board members of Hope Ranch, and Fee is really upset. Of course, speaking to Bobbie directly is sketchy at the moment, as she’s in a bad area for cell reception.
I’m sort of waiting along with all of them…
I was just wondering if you had learned anything more about this. Sounds interesting, at least.
